The mindless chatter inside the brain has cooled down for the first time in my life. It feels calm in the morning and the nights.
The problem: How do I have consistency? For consistency, you need a good start of the day, the vice-versa is also true. But the former can't be true without the latter.
For a good start, I need a well engineered routine specialized for me as I used to make a few years ago. Follow the routine without having any unnecessary doubt.
For now the morning routine is:
- Greet the sun. (Go out for a small walk.) After which Surya Namaskar would be ideal.
- Loud affirmations.
- Om chanting, breathing practice.
- Bath. (Cold or lukewarm water)
- Take your medicines.
- Plan your day and start your day.
How can you maintain this consistency throughout the day?
Take regular breaks. Reset your brain at specific times with things like music (playing not listening) and reading.
Eat at specific times. No need to be "available" for eating. Exercise at the planned time. I am confident that this will work for me.
And of course, I am exiting any dopamine sources from now.
