Being on screen during night greatly reduces the ability to shutdown my brain for sleeping. I’m in the constant state of thinking all the time while sleeping. Screen time during night has become quite an Achilles heel for me. But I am overcoming it from today. I will replace the screen time with books from today. Since, I cannot work without a PC or internet, it is very important for me to have an browsing discipline. It is very easy to wander off in the browser with 50 tabs open. Yesterday, I had an idea to solve this. The idea is to simply use one tab for browsing. Use the browser when it is absolutely required. This approach can be called part of digital minimalism.

Things to remember:

  1. Always have one clear goal (or deliverable) in mind. Do not get up without completing it, you might take small breaks to give your brain appropriate rests.
  2. Regular meditation is essential.
  3. Have browsing discipline and follow the digital minimalism approach.
